The “Friend Zone” explains so much about our attitudes towards love.

  1. Acquaintances. People at Lv.1 are people you know and maybe know a few things about, but don’t necessarily seek out, and certainly wouldn’t necessarily tell secrets about yourself to.
  2. Friends. People at Lv.2 are people you know fairly well, trust at least a bit, and share at least a couple things in common with.
  3. Love. People at Lv.3 are people you know quite well, trust a lot, and share a lot in common with. These can be platonic loves (family, close friends) or romantic ones.
